Why don't you join us?

We always welcome new members. If you are interested in developing Public Speaking, Communications and Leadership skills Sunrise Toastmasters Club is for you. Just come along to one of our meetings as a guest and experience what Toastmasters can do for you. There is no participation fee and no need to make an appointment or contact anyone if you plan to attend as a guest. Click here for details of the schedule and venue for our meetings.

Who can join?

We are a community club and anyone over 18 years is eligible to join.

When can you join Sunrise Toastmasters?

After you attend at least three meetings as a guest, you can apply for membership by filling up a simple membership application form and submitting the same to our Vice President of Membership. Once the joining fees are paid you will be on the path to personal development and improvement. You can join anytime during the year.

How much does it cost?

The cost is Yen 9000 every 6 months - October and April. Dues are pro-rated for members who join between October and April. There is also a one-time charge of Yen 5000 for new members to cover the cost of the new member kit, which includes your manuals and other materials necessary to participate in the educational program.

Need more information?

When you visit our club, feel free to ask our members and officers as many questions as you can while you are there. Some parts of the meeting may seem a bit strange or unfamiliar when you see them for the first time. Don't be afraid to ask (we all had the same questions when we first attended a meeting!)
